StepUP Interview Clothing is provided to those who participate in the CFF's training for men who want to StepUP to provide for their families or StepUP to a better job.

As a young man establishes himself in the world, his focus has to shift from receiving the provision of others to providing what others in his care need. If your family paid for your job training, you are now equipped to provide for YOUR family's daily needs. As their provider, you have taken the first step. Unfortunately, a readiness to provide is not always enough in today's society.  A second important step up may be needed...a step up to a better job. What are your interests? What further training would it take to move up? Taking this step brings tremendous satisfaction because you know life will be better for your whole family...and society.

After these essential steps, additional steps may also be required. Life changes or family pressures cost may men their jobs. Gaining the skills and experience necessary to balance work and home challenges is easier with some apprenticeship experience. StepUP Training is available during the day and in the evening. A total of 30 one-hour sessions are available to take participants through seven possible skill-sets: Building on Your Strengths, Relationship Skills, Money Management, Anger-Management Skills, Home Skills, Parenting Skills, and Co-Parenting Skills. After the "Strengths" portion of the training (four sessions) one set of clothing is provided for the participant free. Upon completion of any skill-set, an additional outfit will be provided according to the type of job sought or secured. You choose where to begin, when to begin, and who to include. Anyone may register for any or all skill-sets separately. Family members are welcome to join you at no additional cost. Participants may also switch from daytime to evening sessions as job schedules change. Sessions are $15 each - way below other options available.
